Last updated: April 26, 2026

Vernon Davault Plumbing Company ("we," "us," or "our") is a Texas-licensed plumbing contractor (TX Master Plumber License #M-7870) operating in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you interact with our business, our website at davaultplumbing.com, or any communications we send.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or rent personal information, including phone numbers and email addresses, to third parties. We do not share information with marketing partners.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to:

  • Visitors to davaultplumbing.com
  • Builders and general contractors with whom we hold active construction contracts
  • Subcontractors engaged through our subcontractor agreements
  • Material suppliers in our purchase-order relationships
  • Employees and apprentices
  • Homeowners and property owners for whom we perform plumbing work — including warranty repairs on homes we originally plumbed, repair calls on existing systems, and referrals from past customers
  • Anyone who contacts us through our website, by phone, or by email

If you have a different relationship with us not listed above, this policy still applies to any data we may hold about you.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate our business and communicate with you. Categories include:

Contact information: name, business name (where applicable), property/job-site address, mailing address, phone number, email address. Collected at contract signing, project engagement, hiring, initial business contact, or when a homeowner contacts us to request repair or warranty work.

Project and operational information: job site addresses, scheduled visit times, scope of work, material orders, work history, and related operational records needed to deliver our services.

Website usage: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate statistics. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

Employment-related information (employees and apprentices only): tax forms, license certifications, scheduling and time records, and other records required to administer employment.

Application materials (apprentice applicants only): resume content and contact details submitted through our website or via email/fax.

We do not collect financial account numbers, social security numbers, or government identifiers from builders, subcontractors, suppliers, or homeowners through this website. Where such information is required for employment or tax purposes, it is collected separately through paper or secured forms.

3. How we use your information

We use information for the following purposes only:

  • Performing our obligations under construction, subcontractor, supply, employment, or service relationships
  • Scheduling work, communicating job-site logistics, and delivering project documentation
  • Sending operational notifications (job scheduling, ETAs, audit packets, work requests, account-related updates, repair-job updates)
  • Responding to inquiries received through our website, by phone, or by email
  • Maintaining records required by Texas state plumbing regulations and standard tax/employment law
  • Securing our website and protecting against fraud or abuse

We do not use any information for advertising, marketing campaigns, or promotional purposes.

4. SMS and email messaging

We send communications only to people we have an existing business or service relationship with. Communications are operational and transactional. Examples include scheduling notifications, ETAs, work requests, audit-packet availability, password resets, material order communications, and occasional project updates.

We do not send marketing or promotional content.

SMS specifics:

  • SMS is sent only to existing business contacts: builders, subcontractors, employees, and material suppliers. We do not currently send SMS to homeowners or end customers. If we add homeowner SMS as a service in the future, we will update these terms and obtain consent at the time phone numbers are collected.
  • Phone numbers used for SMS are obtained in the normal course of business when a relationship is established (contract signing, subcontractor engagement, hiring paperwork, or standing supplier relationships).
  • Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message we send.
  • Replying HELP returns contact information.
  • Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
  • We do not share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS-related opt-in data is not shared with third parties for any purpose.

For full SMS terms, see our SMS Terms of Service.

Email specifics:

  • Email addresses are obtained in the normal course of business or when a homeowner contacts us about plumbing work.
  • Email may be sent to builders, subcontractors, employees, suppliers, and homeowners — for project-related, scheduling, repair, warranty, or account-related communication.
  • Transactional emails are sent through Resend, our authenticated email service provider. Resend acts as a data processor and does not use Davault Plumbing email content for any purpose other than delivering it.
  • You may request to be removed from non-transactional email by replying to any email or contacting us at office@davaultplumbing.com.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • With service providers who help us operate our business under contract: Resend (transactional email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), Supabase (data storage), Vercel (website hosting), Replit (application hosting), SiteGround (mail server hosting), QuickBooks (accounting). These providers are contractually bound to use information only for the services they provide to us.
  • With suppliers and project partners as needed for the specific project (for example: sharing an installation address with a delivering material supplier).
  • As required by law: in response to lawful subpoenas, court orders, regulatory requests from agencies including but not limited to the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, or as needed to defend against legal claims.
  • In a business transition: if we ever sell, merge, or restructure the business, contact information may transfer to the successor as part of the transaction. Any successor will remain bound by this policy or a substantially similar one.

We do not share, license, or sell phone numbers, email addresses, or any other personal contact information for marketing or advertising purposes, including under any circumstances.

6. How we protect your information

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all website traffic
  • Authenticated email transport (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for outbound mail
  • Restricted access to operational systems on a need-to-know basis
  • Service providers selected for their security posture (Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Twilio)

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you and any required regulators in accordance with applicable law.

7. How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as needed to perform our business obligations and to satisfy legal, tax, and regulatory recordkeeping requirements (typically seven years for tax and employment records, longer for warranty-relevant project records). After applicable retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize the information.

You may request deletion of information about you at any time, subject to retention requirements that override the request (for example, completed jobs subject to ongoing warranty coverage).

8. Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • Access information we hold about you, by contacting office@davaultplumbing.com
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Delete information, subject to legal retention obligations described above
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any text message
  • Opt out of email by replying to any email or contacting us
  • Ask questions about how we handle your data, by contacting us at office@davaultplumbing.com

If you live in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (Texas residents, California residents under CCPA, EU residents under GDPR, etc.), we will honor those rights as applicable to our limited data processing.

9. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact office@davaultplumbing.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our business evolves or as regulations change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to recipients we hold contact information for, and through a notice on davaultplumbing.com.
